Hi there

It all started a few years ago when I met Jean. Jean has her own business in creating beaded jewellery and taught me a few of the basics. Over the last couple of years I have been busy making beaded jewellery for friends and colleagues but soon I decided that I needed to move on to other mediums. I briefly tried ArtClay silver - but it didn't really work for me.

Last year I was given a voucher for a silversmithing course at the CAE by a group of friends from work. Due to a trip to Vietnam, pregnancy and then Owen's arrival into the world, I didn't get to use that voucher until recently.

The course was run over 6 weeks and during that time I created a number of pieces. Now that it has finished I have been inspired to do some more work from home. My husband Adrian was so chuffed to hear his wife ask for a power tool for Christmas!!!

So - this site is for my family and friends to have a look at my work.
